Lets catch up...

So I finally decided to start working on the hole in the ceiling around the new kitchen hood
Drew up some plans and got to work...
Then measured, marked and let Grant do the rest :)

Then we cut the 2x4's to use to attach to the drywall
Yup we still have to get rid of the toilet in the garage :)
Oh and that's where we left it....still have to put the drywall into the ceiling :)

Oh and I have discovered garage sailing
Here are some cool wall shelves and other things I found
they just need to be refinished

 Bedroom #2 is coming along....sloooowly

You don't realize that the ceiling is actually brown until you start painting it white

 Crazy Kitties....

This plant in the front yard continues to grow...
still no idea what it is :/

I started working on the side of the house
weeding it...still more to do

Also decided to take out those white things that were ready to retire
looks so much better...not sure if we want to put them back or not hmmm

Yard work continues... and so does work on the shed foundation
Couldn't resist taking a pic of the clear blue sky...
Grant saying hello to the Kitties...
Wiki trying to escape

Me helping :)

For the shed we have finally decided to go with a laid paver foundation
thought about doing a concrete foundation but apparently that needs a permit
and counts towards our taxes...so that's a no go
Next we decided to build a deck and put it on that....too expensive
Not sure why we didn't think about pavers before...the least amount of stuff needed and
most budget friendly!

 Found this mess one morning!

More to come...

  1. looks like you had a busy Sunday and Monday :) If you decide to toss those lattices you took off the side of teh house (those white wooden structures) I would take them off your hands :)
