What we have been upto...

It has been a while since we last posted :)
been kinda busy....naaah not so much, just been chipping away at our to-do list.
Bedroom #2 is almost done...just a couple more treatments might get it all done this weekend so sorry no pics yet :( It is going to be a surprise!

But we have been up-to other stuff like...finally ordered a shed for our lawn equipment
Here is a pic of what is going to look like just a lot bigger....
Yes it is finally done and it was suppose to arrive end of August or beginning of September - Perfect!
Enough of time to get our foundation taken care of. Apparently the home stores don't really build you a foundation...when they say installation they mean you provide them with a leveled flat foundation and they just put the shed together on it Oh! and charge you anywhere upwards of $400 for it :/
So it looks like we are going to have to build our own foundation, right now we are thinking of putting in a concrete slab :) it has been fun educating ourselves on masonry skills.
But guess what received an email today saying it is going to arrive next week!!! yikes!
That is a 576lb box, no idea where we are going to put it :/

We got this really neat storage bench that now resides in our foyer/entryway. And there is Wiki taking a quick nap on it till I disturbed him with my camera :)

And we found an inspiration color palette for our master bedroom...calming with a bit of sparkle :)
don't ya think?

Finally got to making that chocolate zucchini cake last weekend

Hmmm going to try a different recipe next time...didn't really love this one.

Oh and while I was baking Grant was putting a cabinet together we needed some place to store our documents/bills and stuff. Got it at Target it is not built the best but was cheap and provides us with some usable storage.

We tried out a Mac and Cheese last week....still in search of the perfect recipe

Not a bad recipe, might have been a little too rich.
But then making a lb of it might have not been the best thing to do :)

We did not get that cool buffet we originally liked cause it was just too big and would not have worked. But we found something else we liked and that was just the size we needed.
We went and picked up our 280lb china buffet today. OMG unloading it from my car and getting inside was a grueling task. We unpacked it in the driveway hoping that it would become lighter but that did nothing so we literally dragged it in cause I was only able to lift it maybe 2 inches off the ground a foot at a time :) not to forget all under the hot hot sun!
Next time we will just pay the delivery charge even if it is crazy exorbitant.
That's all done now here is it all assembled...Wiki of course found an unexplored spot again.

Maybe in our next posting we will have pics of Bedroom #2 all painted!
Enjoy the rest of your weekends :)
