Happy New Year!

Wow 2012 is here

super excited ...our house is scheduled to get all done this year :))))

no more to-do list!

We had a good relaxing holiday and we hope you did too

yup that means not a whole lot happened around the house

not to worry still got a lot of stuff to talk about :P

just been a lil lazy lately to blog :)

Lets see where to begin...

Yaaay the ceiling around the hood

yup remember the hole in the kitchen ceiling

 Oh and since I was up there I decided to take out the ugly 

above the sink :)

 

That's right see that curly wood above the sink...

Now you don't! :)

All it needs now is a pretty hanging pendant and some window shades

 Then we had to fix the hole where the old light used to be...

 We still needed some light in that area so we added

a smaller recessed light that would fit by the exhaust duct

 TADA...

yes it looks so much smaller here

but is just as bright and does not look bad 

will look awesome once the drywall is plastered and textured

 Then there was just a big mess of drywall dust everywhere to clean :/

 Now as soon as we locate the misplaced screws

needed to put up the cover around the exhaust hood

it will be done.

Oh and the plastering and texturing will get done soon too...someday

just not today :)
