Squashes and apples are here!
perfect time for some butternut squash soup :) yummy!
So that is just what we did for a potluck last weekend
Cut & de-seeded the squash...
Buttered, spiced and baked it...
Added some carrots and apples :)
All cooked, scraped and added to the pot...
Some blending...
Added some cream....and voila
Halloween is going to be here soon...not sure when beggars night is in our area
(that's when the kids dress up in costumes & go from house to house collecting candy)

we are excited this year to be able to decorate our front door and entrance
so today I did some Halloween shopping, still need to get some pumpkins will get those this weekend
our theme is going to be around spiders!!!
Miki was going crazy attacking the spider so i had to put him away.
